By trade I am a Gemologist / Fine Jeweler ~ it is through the intimacy of jewelry I connect in warmth. I began in 1992 in a small crystal shop in Palm Springs, Ca. Slowly living up and down the coast working in the mineral shops and creating my one of a kind pieces for offering until studying Gemology and Gold fabrication at the GIA called to me. After earning both my certifications, I went on to work in comprehensive fields across the industry, the Pala Gem Mine, QVC live sales, Fine and Estate jewelry and Diamond trade. I learned greatly about the industry, human nuance while supporting my vision of creating my own body of work to culminate here... in Warmly.
"Inter-Disciplinary Humanities" is my academic focus, a Phenomenological Philosophy major - meaning, to investigate the 'every day' to the *paraphysical* experiences of human beings as it directly occurs to them.
I am a longstanding member of member of The Foundation for Critical Thinking, , The International Association for Near-Death Studies and recent inductee to Pi Gamma Mu ~ Academic Honor Society for Inter-Disciplinary Humanities.
In "Aura Photography" I treat my camera akin to my gemological equipment. My specialty is observing light moving through a gem as energy / emotion through human body as we may / may not process energetics of experience and how the emotions correlate to that energy.
It is with benevolence and reverent observation which I synthesize my philosophy into fine adornment for your body. All of my jewelry is sculpted by my hands, from the prongs which hold your gems to the clasps which hold beads into thread.
